Design and biuld your own Rockcliner

Here is a chair that I called the rockcliner sling chair. I designed it off an older model with my own touch. If you have any craftsman skills you too can build a rockcliner sling chair.

You will need 3-2x1x 6 kiln dried pine, 1-1x4x6 kiln dried pine, 1-1x6x6 kiln dried pine, steel bolts, 2 yards of canvas, your choice in color and sewing machine

Step1: Cut 4-2x1x6 at 36 inches, 2-2x1x6 at 24 inches, 2-2x1x6 at 18 inches and 2-2x1x6 at 12 inches.

Step2: Cut 2- 1x4x2 at 18 inches, 2- 1x4x6 at 24

Step3: Cut 2 - 1x6x6 at 18 inches

Step4: Once the boards are cut sands each piece using a fine grit sand paper then stain to your liking.

step5: Bolt all pieces together using steel bolts

Step6: Cut your fabric 36 inches long by 24 inches wide.

Step7: Fold each ends at 5 inches then stitch with sewing machine

Step8: slide the 2- 1x4x24 inch boards through the 5 inch ends.

Step9: Now screw each board to the frame that is bolted together.

Thanks and Goodluck
